Content Marketing is necessary.

Content Marketing as defined by the  Content Marketing Institute is a marketing technique of creating and distributing valuable, relevant and consistent content to attract and acquire a clearly defined audience – with the objective of driving profitable customer action.

You must however, make sure that whatever content you are disseminating is important to your audience. You might not necessarily create the content you are distributing but the content must add value to the intended audience. If it is not value added then there is absolutely no need for your intended audience to regard your content.

Content marketing is essential as it creates awareness. Awareness in the sense that people get to know  you have a solution they need.  It does not just stop at letting people know, it is also a platform for  educating people about a product they may have never considered before. It also builds trust in your potential customers.

Here comes the good part. It does not come with any extra charge, just get your value added content and put it out there for your audience to engage.
